I got my japenese (permanent)Straightening at the Christiaan.Sacha is the hair stylist who did it. Please NEVER EVER get the hair straigtening at the salon.After the treatment I washed my hair and it turned back to curls.I called the salon and they said they are not ready to redo my hair and I need to everytime i wash my hair.This is completeley opposed to the meaning of permanent hair straightening.They charged me the premium rate than compared to boston downtown.

I have extremely thick, wavy/curly, nearly impossible hair to cut + style. I've been to every big expensive salon in New York and Miami and have never had as wonderful an experience as I did with Riki at Christiaan. She listened to my questions, worries, hair complaints, etc, and gave me the best haircut I have ever had. It is just as I have wanted it for years...I almost can't believe it. I created an account on Citysearch just to write a review for this salon. The second thrilling surprise was the price...I've paid three times what Riki charged at places like Bumble & Bumble, Woodley & Bunny, etc. for a cut that has gone up into a bun within hours of leaving the salon. I walked through a small wind storm after leaving the appointment and my hair STILL looks awesome. I could not be happier. She is a miracle worker!
